The tree has moderate vigor, reaching 5–7 m in height, and forms a wide, moderately dense crown. The variety is self-incompatible and requires pollinator varieties for stable fruit set.
Fruits weighing 15–25 g have an oval or elongated shape. The thin, dark purple skin is covered with a waxy bloom. The juicy yellow-green flesh is distinguished by high sugar content and aroma; the pit separates easily.
Harvesting occurs in late August or September. The variety is susceptible to Plum pox virus. The fruits are versatile in use, historically applied for the production of slivovitz, prunes, jam, and fresh consumption, but do not transport well.
