The variety belongs to the Gage group and is intended for fresh consumption. The fruits are medium-sized and distinguished by very juicy flesh and a rich sweet taste. Ripening occurs in September.
The variety is self-fertile and does not require pollinators. There is evidence regarding the proximity of this variety to Reine Claude Verte and Reine Claude de Bavay, although it may show more vigorous growth and earlier entry into fruiting compared to Reine Claude Verte; however, yield can be unstable.
