The tree has medium to good vigor and an open crown, reaching a height of 4–6 meters. The variety enters bearing slowly and is prone to alternate bearing, which requires regular pruning. The presence of other European plum varieties is necessary for pollination.
The fruits are small to medium in size and round in shape. Upon ripening, the skin changes color from grayish-green to golden. The flesh is translucent, amber-yellow or greenish in shade, juicy, possesses a characteristic aroma and high sugar content; the stone separates easily.
