The Reine-Claude de Moissac tree reaches a height of 4–6 meters, forming a semi-spreading crown. The variety exhibits winter hardiness, withstanding temperatures as low as -20°C, and is self-fertile.
The fruits are medium to large in size and round in shape. The thin, greenish-yellow skin acquires golden or amber hues upon ripening. The yellow-green flesh is characterized by its tenderness, juiciness, sweet taste, and subtle aroma.
Fruit ripening occurs from the end of July to mid-August, earlier than the Reine Claude Dorée variety. The variety is versatile in use, suitable for fresh consumption and various types of industrial processing.
