The tree is vigorous, reaching a height of 4–6 meters, and has a round-oval crown of medium density. The variety is self-infertile, enters fruiting in the 4–5th year, and requires the planting of pollinator varieties for crop formation.

The fruits are of medium or large size, round-oval, and covered with burgundy-purple skin with a waxy bloom. The amber-yellow flesh has a sweet taste with slight acidity and an easily separable stone.

The variety is of mid-season maturity, with the harvest collected in mid- or late August. The plant has relative resistance to diseases, while being at risk of infection by Monilia, silver leaf, and bacterial canker.
