The tree is vigorous or of medium vigor, reaching a height of 3–6 meters, forming a round-oval or pyramidal crown of medium density. It enters fruit-bearing at 4–5 years after planting.
The fruits are large or medium, round or oval in shape. The skin is colored reddish-purple or burgundy-purple with a waxy bloom. The flesh is golden-yellow, juicy and firm; the stone separates easily.
The variety is self-incompatible and requires pollinators for regular fruit-bearing. The trees possess winter hardiness, however, under unfavorable conditions, they can be affected by Monilinia, bacterial canker, or silver leaf.
