Fruits are medium to large in size, round in shape, covered with thin yellow skin with a pinkish-purple blush. A characteristic feature is the translucency of the skin. The flesh is yellowish-green; when fully ripe, it becomes very juicy, sweet, aromatic, tender, and melting.

The tree is characterized by vigorous growth. There is a tendency for flower buds to form leaves instead of flowers. To obtain a yield, the variety requires pollinators; suitable varieties include Prune d'Ente, Reine Claude dorée, Reine Claude d'Althan, and Reine Claude d'Oullins. Due to the thin skin, the fruits do not withstand transportation well.
