The variety was obtained as a result of open pollination of the Genco variety, with AS-1 as the pollen parent. The tree is characterized by good vigor. The variety is self-compatible, which allows it to set fruit without the participation of other pollinator varieties, however, it is also used as a pollinator for other varieties.
The plant belongs to the early flowering group, which creates a risk of flower damage by spring frosts. The fruits have a hard shell and high-quality kernels. A characteristic feature is the absence of double kernels in the fruits.
