The variety is intended for commercial cultivation in the conditions of the Central Valley of California. Harvesting is carried out in the period from July 27 to August 8. The variety is self-fertile.
The fruits have a well-closed shell, which provides protection against damage by pests such as ants and navel orangeworm. The plant exhibits reduced susceptibility to hull rot, but is sensitive to almond rust in the absence of fungicidal treatments.
