The tree is medium-sized, reaching a height of 4.5–6 meters. The variety is characterized by late flowering and fruit ripening 3 weeks later than the Nonpareil variety. It requires approximately 500 chilling hours and is not self-fertile; other late-flowering varieties are required for pollination.
Kernels are medium-sized, have a sweet taste, and a semi-hard shell. The fruit shape is short, wide, and rounded with a highly wrinkled skin. Trees are well adapted to mechanical harvesting and demonstrate resistance to a number of diseases. Intended for USDA climate zones 7–9.
