The tree is vigorous, forming a broad spreading crown about 3.5 meters high. The variety belongs to the late-flowering group; fruits ripen in the second half of September. Winter hardiness of flower buds during the dormant period is –25...–28 °C; the variety is resistant to diseases.

Nuts have a mass of 2.5–3.0 g and are distinguished by a relatively soft and thin shell. The kernel yield is 47–52%. The variety is high-yielding; the productivity of an adult tree reaches 12–15 kg of nuts.

The variety is self-sterile and requires cross-pollination; varieties «Никитский» and «Делон» are recommended as pollinators. In some documents, the variety is mentioned as a synonym for «Ароматный».
