The tree has high vigor and an open branched crown, and responds well to training pruning. The variety is self-fertile and blooms late, which allows it to avoid damage from spring frosts, while the flowers are resistant to temperature drops down to -5°C.
Fruits ripen early, in the period from the end of August to mid-September. Harvesting is facilitated by the fact that the nuts easily detach when shaken. The variety shows tolerance to Phomopsis and Polystigma leaf spot, and enters fruiting in the 2–3rd year after planting.
The nuts have a heart-shaped form and a hard shell. The kernel is of medium weight with an oil content of 51–53% and protein of about 24.5%. The number of double kernels is minimal, about 0.1%. Due to the composition, in particular the oleic acid content, the kernels have good storage stability.
