The rootstock has medium to above-average vigor, ensuring trees size at about 90% of standard sweet cherry seedlings. It is well compatible with most sweet and sour cherry varieties, contributes to increased precocity and yield, while not producing root suckers.
The plant is adapted to gravelly, calcareous and well-drained soils. However, it is unsuitable for heavy waterlogged areas due to the risk of root fungal diseases. Fruits on this rootstock may have a slightly smaller caliber compared to some other types of rootstocks.
