The variety is used exclusively as a generative rootstock. In comparative trials, sweet cherry trees on this rootstock exhibited lower growth vigor than on the Colt rootstock, but more vigorous than on F12/1 rootstocks or Prunus avium seedlings.

The use of this rootstock ensures a high percentage of nursery stock meeting industry standards. When using the variety, it is necessary to consider the potential physiological incompatibility with certain sweet cherry varieties.
