Variety description

10 August 2026

Trees on this rootstock reach about 5 meters in height, which is 75–90% of the growth of trees on wild cherry seedlings. The rootstock ensures precocity and high yield, but can lead to a certain decrease in fruit size.

The root system is deep, ensuring reliable anchorage of the tree in the soil, eliminating the need for supports. The rootstock does not tolerate heavy clay soils and excessive moisture. It is sensitive to a number of fungal pathogens, including Phytophthora, Armillaria, and Verticillium, but demonstrates tolerance to bacterial canker.

Used for establishing orchards with an average planting density of 300 to 700 trees per hectare. The variety is in demand in regions with hot and dry summers due to its ability to grow on poor calcareous soils.
