The variety is the result of breeding self-compatible types of Prunus mahaleb and is intended for the production of certified seeds. Unlike non-varietal seedlings of Prunus mahaleb, this rootstock guarantees the uniformity of planting material, which eliminates significant variations in vigor and compatibility in grafted trees.

The rootstock possesses the ability for early entry into fruit bearing and ensures high yield. The variety's seeds are characterized by high germination of up to 90% and have "Virus Free" status. The plant is adapted to drought conditions and calcareous soils, however, it is sensitive to waterlogging and heavy soils.
