The Burnectseven variety (trade name Summer Flare® 28) is a nectarine obtained by crossing the Summer Red and Diamond Ray varieties. The fruit ripening period falls in the first half of August.
The fruits have a moderately flattened shape. The skin is yellow-orange with a red or red-orange blush covering 70% to 90% of the surface. The flesh is yellow and dense; the stone is poorly separated from the flesh. The fruits have a sweet taste with a slight acidity and aroma.
