The variety was obtained through open pollination of the 'Black Splendor' variety using in vitro embryo culture techniques. Trees are characterized by high vigor and a semi-upright crown habit, ripening approximately 5 days earlier than the parent variety.

Fruits have an average weight of about 60–74 g and a diameter of 51 mm. The flesh is an intense red color, firm, juicy, with a sugar content of about 16° Brix. The variety is adapted to warm climatic conditions and is intended for cultivation in high-density planting systems.
