The name translates as "wild cherry seedling" and denotes generatively propagated material used in agronomic practice as a rootstock for sweet and sour cherries. It is not a breeding variety, but a form that is currently propagated by seeds collected from selected mother trees.
Trees on this rootstock are characterized by very vigorous growth, reaching heights of up to 15 meters, requiring significant nutritional areas and entering fruiting late, usually around 8 years. The application of this term to plum is an identification error.
