Variety description

10 August 2026

The rootstock is a hybrid of Prunus tomentosa and Prunus cerasifera. The plant reaches a height of 2.5–3 m, has a dense rounded crown, wrinkled oval leaves, and dark gray-olive pubescent shoots. The root system has good anchorage and produces almost no root suckers.

Grafted trees enter bearing 1–2 years earlier, and their fruits are often larger. The rootstock is characterized by high winter hardiness of the root system and resistance to compacted soils, temporary waterlogging, root rots, and nematodes. The plant is sensitive to chlorosis and crown gall and requires irrigation in arid conditions.
