The object is a group of rootstocks obtained from the seeds of feral apricots. In variety registers, such objects are often listed as varieties of unknown origin. The characteristics of individual plants vary, as they are not a bred variety.

When used as rootstock, it ensures vigorous growth of grafted trees. It is characterized by a tendency to form a taproot and a weakly branched root system. Light, well-aerated, slightly calcareous soils are optimal; it tolerates waterlogging poorly.

It possesses good drought tolerance but is sensitive to Verticillium wilt. It is used primarily as a rootstock for apricot; use for plum is acceptable only on dry, loose, sandy soils due to the risk of incompatibility.
