The variety is the result of a breeding program at the CREA institute aimed at creating plants resistant to fire blight. The tree is characterized by moderate vigor and short internodes, and the variety is noted for its high yield.
The fruits have a truncate-pyriform shape and acquire a light yellow-green hue upon ripening. The flesh is sweet and aromatic. The variety is considered early: fruit ripening occurs approximately 35 days before the 'Williams' variety.
