Fruits of the Blanquilla variety are medium to large in size, with an oval or pear-like shape. The smooth, thin skin is light green in color, which turns grayish or pale green upon ripening. The flesh is white, sweet, with a delicate texture and possible slight graininess in the center.
The harvest is gathered from the end of summer to mid-September. The tree is not self-fertile and requires pollinators. The variety is adapted for cultivation in warm regions, showing resistance to summer heat. The fruits are intended for fresh consumption.
