CH 201
ActivePyrus communis L. · European pear
EST. PRODUCTIVO DE DANILO CHRISTEN
10 August 2026
The variety was obtained by crossing the varieties Bosc and President Drouard. The tree is characterized as medium-growing or weak-growing, and is distinguished by winter hardiness and high resistance to diseases, including scab. It enters the bearing stage in the third year after planting, and yield becomes abundant with age.
The fruits are large, weighing from 250–300 g to 500–800 g, and have an elongated-conical shape. The skin is smooth, changing color from green to yellow upon ripening. The flesh is whitish, medium-dense, juicy, sweet, and without pronounced granulation. The fruits are suitable for transportation and long-term storage.
The variety is of universal purpose, suitable for both private gardening and industrial production of fresh produce, juices, and desserts.
