The variety Bianchetto, also known as Savardegino, is an ancient local variety of Italian origin. Currently, it is considered rare, is at risk of extinction, and is found primarily as individual old specimens in the Parma regions and on the slopes of Mount Etna.

The tree is characterized by very vigorous growth and productivity. The fruits have a round shape, an average weight of about 80 g, and a yellow color with a dark red blush. The flesh is firm, moderately juicy, sweet in taste with a slight astringent note. The fruit ripening period falls in September.

The variety is considered hardy, capable of surviving in old orchards for a long time. In modern practice, it is used for collection plantings and the restoration of local biodiversity.
