The variety is the result of breeding work in Geisenheim. The parent forms for it were the varieties Williams Christ and Conference. The variety is intended for table use.

The fruits are late-maturing; harvest maturity occurs at the end of September. Externally, they are characterized by a large size and a slender shape. The fruit skin has a green background, complemented by a bright red blush on the sunny side. The variety is productive and reliable in fruiting.
