The tree is of moderate vigor with a pyramidal crown. Fruits weighing 140–180 g have a blunt-conical or bergamot-like shape. The skin is thick, smooth, golden-yellow in color with russeting and a carmine-red blush. The flesh is white, very juicy, sweet, with spice and subtle acidity.
Harvesting takes place in September; the storage life of the fruits is 2–3 weeks. The onset of fruiting occurs in the 4th–5th year; yields are average. The variety is partially self-fertile; Conference, Williams, and Bosc are suitable varieties for cross-pollination.
The variety is demanding regarding soil fertility and protection from wind. It is incompatible with quince rootstock, which requires the use of an intercalary graft. Prevention of scab and fire blight is necessary.
