The tree is characterized by moderate vigor, reaching 4–6 meters on semi-dwarfing rootstocks. The crown has a distinctive umbelliform shape, which allows the variety to be used for espalier formation or grown as dwarf forms.

Fruits are medium to large in size and have a pear-shaped, often "bottle-like" form. The skin is greenish, and a red blush often appears upon ripening. The flesh is dense, aromatic, and sweet-and-sour in taste.

The variety is an autumn one; fruits reach picking maturity in October. During storage, it is important to prevent overripening, as the flesh quickly becomes loose and loses its taste qualities. The variety possesses sufficient winter hardiness down to -20°C.
