The variety is a historical find from the Billnäs estate and belongs to local Finnish varieties. The tree is characterized by vigorous growth, while attempts to restrain the size of the crown through pruning can provoke even more active shoot development.

The variety is classified as a summer variety, suitable for cultivation in hardiness zones II–III. The fruits are small in size. Currently, the variety is of interest primarily for amateur gardening and the preservation of genetic diversity of fruit crops.
