CH 201
ActivePyrus communis L. · European pear
EST. PRODUCTIVO DE DANILO CHRISTEN
10 August 2026
The variety was obtained by crossing the varieties «Napoca» and «Untoasă precoce Morettini». The fruits ripen in the second half of September and have an average weight of 140–160 g. The skin is semi-thick, yellow with a red blush on 50% of the surface, sometimes with russeting. The flesh is yellowish-white, very juicy, with a sweet, balanced taste.
The tree vigor depends on the rootstock: when using Quince A, weak or medium vigor is observed, and high vigor when using a seedling rootstock. The variety shows good resistance to diseases and compatibility with quince rootstocks, but is sensitive to drought. For high productivity, amounting to 25–30 t/ha, it requires the planting of pollinator varieties such as «Williams» or «Bosc».
