The CEDDA variety, also known as Pero Cedda, is a local variety of Pyrus communis. It has traditionally been grown on family farms and is closely linked to the agro-biological diversity of the Siena territory in the Tuscany region.

In official registers, the variety is listed as a protected genetic resource. At the same time, detailed agronomic and morphological characteristics of the plant, including a detailed description of the fruits or disease resistance, are absent from open publications.
