The Cedrata Romana variety, also known as Buré Ròca or Butirra Reale di Torino, is an ancient local variety of Italian origin. The tree of moderate vigor is characterized by high productivity and regular bearing.
The fruits are large, ovoid in shape, with smooth lemon-yellow skin covered with small russet lenticels. The flesh is white, of semi-fine consistency, juicy, with a distinct sweet taste and slight acidity. The ripening period falls in the third decade of September.
