The variety is a representative of traditional selection and the historical heritage of the Veneto region. The fruits belong to the late-winter category and are intended for long-term storage.
Historically, the fruits were stored in cellars using the traditional method of aging in terracotta amphorae with boiled water. Currently, the variety is viewed as an object for the conservation of genetic biodiversity and is not industrial.
