The tree is medium-sized, grows slowly, and the crown has a broad-pyramidal or rounded shape. The leaves are medium-sized, elliptical, shiny, and often concave in the shape of a boat. The variety is demanding of soil and climatic conditions and develops best in warm, protected places on fertile soils.

The fruits weigh from 160 to 300 g, sometimes up to 400–800 g on dwarf rootstocks, and are barrel-shaped or oval-conical. At harvest, the fruits are dark green, becoming greenish-yellow during storage. The flesh is white, juicy, with a dessert sweet-and-sour taste and aroma.

Harvest maturity occurs in the second ten-day period of October, consumer maturity in December–January, and the fruits are stored until March–April. Yield is moderate, and the variety is susceptible to scab. Due to poor compatibility with quince, the use of an intermediate interstock is recommended for propagation.
