CH 201
ActivePyrus communis L. · European pear
EST. PRODUCTIVO DE DANILO CHRISTEN
10 August 2026
The tree is vigorous, reaching a height of 4–6 meters, with a semi-upright spreading crown. The fruits are of a blunt pear shape with greenish-yellow skin, which acquires a pinkish hue when ripening in the sun. The flesh is white, juicy, and sweet, with a pleasant acidity and aroma.
Harvest maturity of the fruits occurs from late September to mid-October, and the harvest can be stored until December. The variety is self-incompatible and requires pollinators; it is often used in breeding work as a parent form. The fruits are suitable for fresh consumption and culinary processing.
