CH 201
ActivePyrus communis L. · European pear
EST. PRODUCTIVO DE DANILO CHRISTEN
10 August 2026
The variety belongs to the very early summer pears; the fruits ripen in late July or August. They are small in size, bulb-shaped, and yellow-green in color with a red blush. The taste of the fruits is sweet-sour, slightly spicy; due to the rapid loss of consistency during ripening, they are not suitable for long-term storage.
The trees have very vigorous growth, form a wide spreading pyramidal crown, and are distinguished by their longevity. The variety shows high resistance to scab and other diseases, and also possesses significant winter hardiness, which allows it to be used in harsh climatic conditions.
The fruits are intended for fresh consumption, as well as for processing, including drying, making marmalades, and the production of distillates.
