The tree is of medium height with a weeping crown, reaches sizes up to 8 meters, and is characterized by high longevity exceeding 100 years. The variety is demanding of soil fertility, does not tolerate drought or waterlogging well, and requires high-quality pruning. Fruiting begins late, 10 or more years after planting, and is periodic in nature.

The fruits are medium-sized, pear-shaped, and have a characteristic red skin. The flesh is medium-dense, juicy, with a pleasant taste and a hint of tropical fruit. The harvest occurs in the second half of August, and the storage life of the harvested fruit is up to 14 days.

The variety possesses high frost resistance, low susceptibility to scab, and medium susceptibility to moniliosis. The flowers are sensitive to adverse weather conditions. Currently, the variety is considered primarily as part of cultural heritage and is used for the purposes of preserving biological diversity.
