The fruits of the variety have a characteristic uneven, asymmetrical shape with bumps and depressions. The pears are distinguished by their very large size and excellent taste qualities. The variety is versatile: suitable for both fresh consumption and various types of processing, including the preparation of compotes, jams, juices, drying, and use in baking.

The variety belongs to the autumn maturity group. It is characterized as quite low-maintenance, resistant to certain diseases, and capable of enduring unfavorable climatic conditions. At present, it is of interest to amateur gardeners and collectors as a historical and genetic resource.
