ActivePyrus communis L. · European pear
EST. PRODUCTIVO DE DANILO CHRISTEN
10 August 2026
The variety is a winter one, with fruits ripening in October. Externally, they have a traditional pear shape, the basic green skin color is complemented by a brownish or reddish-brown hue. The flesh in a ripe state is juicy, firm, and fine-grained.
The tree reaches a height of 4–6 meters and is distinguished by good adaptation to the climate of Finland (hardiness zones I–II). The variety begins to bear fruit relatively early and requires planting a pollinator tree for a stable yield.
