The tree of the L`vivs`kyi suvenir variety is characterized by medium vigor and a sparse inverted-pyramidal crown. The variety was obtained by crossing the Bere Hardy and Parizhanka varieties and is highly compatible with quince.
The fruits have an elongated-pear, bergamot-like, or top-like shape. Upon ripening, the skin turns an intense orange or greenish-yellow color with an orange-red blush and the presence of russeting. The flesh is cream or white, juicy, buttery, and possesses a sweet-and-sour taste with an almond aroma.
The variety possesses high winter hardiness, characteristic of the conditions in the Forest-Steppe and Polissya regions. The trees demonstrate resistance to scab and other fungal and bacterial diseases.
