The Lambe-os-dedos variety, also known as Amorim, is an old regional variety from Portugal, preserved mainly in old orchards. The fruits of this variety are distinguished by their very small size, comparable to a clementine, and a specific skin with green and brown shades.
The fruits are characterized by very high sweetness and juiciness, but possess low keeping quality, which limits their use in intensive agriculture. The variety has limited distribution and is currently the subject of programs for the conservation of genetic diversity and the study of fruit composition.

Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
