The variety is a breeding development of the Latvian Institute of Horticulture. It belongs to the groups with a medium harvest and maturity period. It is undergoing testing for compatibility with various rootstocks, including Cydonia oblonga.
The average weight of fruits at harvest is about 169 g. The sugar content at the time of harvest varies within the range of 9.9–15.3 Brix%.
