The fruits of this variety are distinguished by an asymmetric shape and firm, sweet flesh. The main skin color is greenish-yellow; the surface is almost completely covered with coarse textured russeting. Harvesting occurs in early September, the optimal period for consumption is mid-September.
The variety belongs to pollination group «D». In nurseries, the plant is often grafted onto quince rootstock, which allows growing trees in a free form or on a trellis. Genetically, the variety is susceptible to fire blight.
