CH 201
ActivePyrus communis L. · European pear
EST. PRODUCTIVO DE DANILO CHRISTEN
10 August 2026
The tree has moderate vigor, upright and slender. The variety is self-sterile and requires pollinators. Due to insufficient winter hardiness in a number of regions, it requires special growing conditions and correct rootstock selection.
The fruits have a regular pear shape. The skin is tender, changing color from greenish-yellow to bright yellow upon ripening, sometimes covered with russet spots. The flesh is white, aromatic, sweet, with slight acidity and spicy notes.
To achieve high flavor quality, the fruits require a post-harvest ripening period, which can take up to 40 days. The fruits are prone to dropping when ripe and to infection by scab.
