The LEONARDETA variety is a local traditional crop (landrace) of the Aragon region in Spain. In international trade quality standards, such as UNECE standards, it is classified as a summer pear.

This variety does not have established minimum fruit size requirements, which is characteristic of many traditional summer varieties. Detailed agrotechnical characteristics, such as tree height or disease resistance, are not presented in open sources.
