The tree has medium to strong vigor, forming a spreading or drooping crown. The onset of fruiting occurs rather slowly. The variety is self-fertile, however, the presence of pollinator varieties with a coinciding flowering period increases the reliability of fruit set.

Fruits of medium or above-medium size have a cylindrically-conical, strongly elongated shape. The smooth-skinned surface changes color from green to straw-yellow upon ripening, sometimes with light russeting around the stalk. The variety is prone to rapid fruit drop during the ripening period.

The variety shows very low susceptibility to scab, but is sensitive to fire blight. The fruit flesh is fine-textured, sweet, and of high quality, which determines the main purpose of the variety as a dessert variety for fresh consumption.
