The tree is characterized by moderate vigor, the crown shape is broadly pyramidal, and branches grow predominantly vertically. The variety is diploid; to ensure yield, the presence of pollinator varieties blooming at similar times is required. When grafting, due to possible incompatibility with quince, the use of an interstock or wild pear is recommended.
The fruits are small, weighing about 60 g, and have an elongated pear shape. The skin is thin, becoming lemon-yellow upon ripening, often with a delicate blush. The flesh is sweet, fine-textured, and has a pleasant aroma; it is not intended for long-term storage. Ripening dates vary from June to October depending on growing conditions.
