The tree of this variety is vigorous and long-lived, forming a spreading or pyramidal crown. It is a summer ripening variety, with the harvest collected in the second half of July — early August. The plant is not self-fertile and requires pollinator varieties, such as Williams or Beurré Giffard.

Fruits are small or medium-sized, weighing 30–80 g, and have a regular pear shape. The skin is straw-yellow with a possible red blush. The flesh is white or yellowish-white, juicy and sweet, characterized by a spicy nutmeg flavor. The fruits are suitable for both fresh consumption and processing.

The variety is considered winter-hardy and relatively resistant to diseases and pests. The firm skin of the fruits ensures good transportability and suitability for industrial processing, including canning and making jams.
