CH 201
ActivePyrus communis L. · European pear
EST. PRODUCTIVO DE DANILO CHRISTEN
10 August 2026
The tree is characterized by vigorous growth and forms large crowns, often grown as standard trees. In the autumn period, the foliage acquires an intense reddish color.
The fruits are medium to large in size, weighing from 60 to 180 g, and have a tall pear-shaped or cylindrical form. The color is olive-green, turning yellow upon ripening, with visible lenticels, slight russeting, and a possible blush on the sunny side.
The flesh is yellowish-white and possesses a spicy aroma with hints of cinnamon or almond. The variety enters the bearing stage early, produces regular yields, and is distinguished by high resistance to diseases, including fire blight.
Harvest maturity of the fruits occurs in mid-September. The variety is intended for processing: mainly for drying, making compotes, and the production of high-quality spirits.
