The name Muscarell is a regional synonym for a group of Moscatelle varieties, the origin of which is linked to the Roman era. This is an autochthonous landrace, not a bred variety.
The fruits belong to early or very early maturity groups, with a period falling between the end of June and the middle of July. They are characterized by small size, a sweet taste, and a pronounced muscat aroma with a limited shelf life.

Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
